2016 Olympics

 

Rio de Janerio will host the 2016 Olympic Games, the first ever Olympics to be held in South America. Rio is the second largest city in Brazil and is known as A Cidade Maravilhosa – the marvellous city. The city will provide a jaw dropping background to the Olympics 2016, as well as providing a uniquely Brazilian experience to all those who are lucky enough to attend. With a city famous for Carnivals, Samba, World class hotels and beaches, Corcovado and Sugarloaf mountains and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World - Christ the Redeemer, we will surely witness one of the greatest Olympic Games ever seen.

The 2016 Rio Games will are scheduled to be held from 5th August to 21st August 2016, with all events held contained within the city. The planned four Olympic zones - Barra, Copacabana, Deodoro, and Maracanã will host all the events in world class stadiums and venues, some of which are already completed. We will be adding more information once it becomes available so please check back regularly for news updates.
